WHO WE ARE

“Peru to the World Expo! (PTWE)” is a distinguished non-profit 501(c)(3) organization committed to promoting Peruvian cuisine globally while making a positive impact on communities in need. Our international Fair of Gastronomic Tourism of Peru serves as a pivotal event in our efforts to showcase the rich culinary heritage of Peru in the United States. Held annually in New York City, this fair is not only a remarkable business platform for connecting distribution companies with authentic Peruvian food products and gastronomic attractions, but it also provides an immersive experience for American diners to indulge in the diverse flavors of Peruvian cuisine.
Beyond our culinary celebration, PTWE goes beyond the plate to support communities in Peru during times of devastation and other challenges. We prioritize humanitarian efforts, lending a helping hand and offering assistance to those in need.

At the PTWE fair, attendees are treated to an exceptional range of dishes meticulously prepared by renowned Peruvian restaurants in the tri-state area. The culinary journey is seamlessly accompanied by captivating cultural events, including traditional dances, captivating music performances, and other artistic expressions.

To recognize the exceptional contributions of Peruvian Top Chefs, who serve as ambassadors of Peruvian gastronomy, we proudly present them with a distinguished diploma. This esteemed recognition is bestowed upon them by the office of Senator Robert Menéndez, President of the Foreign Relations Commission of the United States Senate.

“Peru to the World Expo” is an esteemed non-profit initiative that celebrates the essence of Peruvian gastronomy and showcases the rich cultural assets that Peru has to offer. Since its establishment in the US in 2012, Peru to the World Expo has been dedicated to spreading awareness about the abundance of Peruvian products and the remarkable diversity found within Peruvian cuisine. As a testament to its culinary prowess, Peru has been recognized as the Best Culinary Destination in the World for nine consecutive years and has garnered numerous Travel Awards.

Our mission goes beyond appreciation and recognition; we strive to promote the growth of Peruvian exports, specifically highlighting the various products integral to this unique cuisine. Throughout our journey, Peru to the World Expo has operated under the principle of nurturing knowledge, fostering culinary expertise, and encouraging the consumption of authentic Peruvian dishes in the United States. To achieve this, we have curated a series of events that educate individuals on every aspect of this remarkable cuisine, from suppliers to consumers. Central to this endeavor are the talented chefs who masterfully prepare these dishes and captivate the palates of American consumers.

Under the esteemed brand of Peru to the World Expo, we host a range of renowned events that have garnered widespread recognition. These include the International “Seminar Perú Strategic Food Supplier for the World,” the First Forum of Investments in Agriculture, the Taste of Quinoa & Pisco Party in NYC, the International Quinoa Forum in NYC, the celebration of the National Day of Pisco in New York, and the vibrant Fiesta del Aji Amarillo and Pisco, among others.

As “Peru to the World Expo,” we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to promote Peruvian Superfoods and the invaluable nutritional value they offer. With even greater determination, we continue to champion the essence of Peruvian cuisine, nourishing both the body and the soul, while receiving the generous support and assistance that has sustained our efforts for the past 12 years. Together, we strive to create a profound impact by fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the remarkable culinary treasures Peru has to offer.

ABOUT OUR ANNUAL HELP IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES THROUGHOUT PERU

At Peru To The World Expo, we are committed to making a meaningful difference in underserved communities throughout Peru. Each year, we organize a dedicated annual initiative to provide assistance and support to those in need.

One significant project that has garnered widespread attention and continues to thrive is our ongoing efforts in aiding the “damnificados del Niño Costero” in Piura, Peru. The Niño Costero phenomenon brought devastation and hardships to the region, but thanks to the incredible compassion of hundreds of fellow compatriots who trust in our organization, we have been able to provide ongoing support and aid to those affected.

Through the generosity of our donors and sponsors, we have been able to extend a helping hand to the affected families, providing vital resources such as shelter, clean water, food, and medical assistance. We remain committed to the long-term recovery and rebuilding process, ensuring that the impacted communities receive the necessary support to regain stability and resilience.
